Our first try at Hard Cider

I've recently gotten into homebrewing. This, along with the
following factors induced this project to get underway in
October of 2005:
- Becky and I are apple picking fiends
- Ben and Alexis recently moved back to the east coast
- Alexis developed a taste for cider on a trip to
Scotland
- JD says that some ciders and french apple liquors are very
good
- I got the Proulx & Nichols Cider book at the homebrew
store
- We needed something to give for holiday gifts
